13 weeks today
Well ladies and gentlemen... Today marks the start of my second trimester!!!! I have made it past the most crucial part. This is the farthest I have got since I was pregnant with the little man. I am super confident Iwill be holding this baby in my arms at the end of the 9 months.
Now what is in my mind a lot is is it a boy or girl? What and who will (s)he look like? Will I have another red head (at least for awhile lol)? Will this be another easy going baby like little man? Or a more needy baby like big man?
I had a discussion with little man last night about what a newborn can do. He really doesn't have any experience with babies and has no idea about them. He thought a newborn could walk and all haha. I had to work hard to convince him that a newborn couldn't walk, crawl, sit etc. So he is still soaking that all in. I just wish I knew someone with a newborn so he could get an idea of what they do and look like etc.
Unfortunately the traveling to CO and back and then turning around and jetting off to CA. Somewhere alog the way I caught a minor headcold. Nothing that is making me bed ridden or anything.
I need to find the resources to stock up on all we will need for this little one. Just ask my husband and he will tell you that I am a perpetual stock up on stuff type person. I have all of this stuff on my mind that I have to get. UGH well we will see how I work it all out huh? A friend said she will help me go and do the registry for the baby. We should have fun getting that done.
My mom has been very generous. She gave us money for a second vehicle. It isn't brand new or anything. But it will get me to appointments, back and forth to the boys school, grocery shopping and errands and I will not be stranded with no vehicle. I am getting a 1991 Ford F150. It has the back seat for the kids, a camper shell too for the dogs or groceries etc. So this is one less thing that will will have to worry about having to budget for.
My husband again. I swear I married the most wonderful man EVER. He treats me so well understands all the stuff I have been going through and is helping me with so much around the house. I owe him big time... well hmm maybe this is his payback for me hehehe. Yeah I like that better than being in debt to him LOL
Anyway this amazingly long winded post is just to say all is well :)
