I do not ask too much do I??

Simple last night "honey can you clean up downstairs" I get a sure no problem. Yeah ummm I come down today and OK the dishes are done buuuut... that is it. UGH

I love him to death but come on. Help me out here buddy!

since your husband is in the navy, ask him to "swab the lower deck." that ought to work!

Hey, how bout take something away, or hold out on something that he wants done until he does his part? My wife employs this technique. Let me tell you; it almost always works...unless I'm feeling especially lazy.
