Holy heck
If I knew getting referrals from a civilian were this easy, I would have switched providers long ago!
We all went in yesterday. Well OK I missed my appointment because of my oldest son... I will get into that in another post.
DS#3 went in got a once over and a referral to Childrens hospital for an audiologists exam... to repeat every 6 months until he is 3. There appears nothing wrong with his hearing (to me). However because of my oldests problems we are being proactive and dotting I's and crossing T's. I requested Childrens even though it is a drive, because they are aware of my oldests history and type of loss.
My oldest son got his neurologists referral.
My middle son got another look over. She suggested that while she has some suspicions she is NOT A SPECIALIST (HELLO?!?!?! thank you!!) He is heading to a gastrointerologist (hmm this isn't on spell check, but it looks right to me). Thank you Lord! I do not want to mess around with his health. It may very well be nothing however better safe you know?
OK as for me I have to go in to get my refill on vitamins on Monday. I talked to dh he said to let her know my history with infertility and losses. Then see if she thinks a referral now would be good. He also wants to know if the RE will see me if I am breastfeeding (I don't even know...). And convey the fact we would like to have another child soon. He is so afraid of being too old. Being mistaken for the Grandpa at high school graduation. He is silly
She seems knowledgeable and nice. The fact she talked TO Grady and not over him or ignoring him all together and just talking to me.... I liked that A LOT.
