So we are innocently watching a movie
upstairs.... I think I hear the doorbell... nah I write it off as movie background noise.... Then I SWEAR I hear a knock at the door... yup someone is at the door. Dh heads on downstairs and hmmm he doesn't come back up for awhile. I then catch a glimpse of Red flashing lights in the bathroom window!!!
I grab Grady and head downstairs thinking OMG the fire department at OUR door What is wrong?!!?!?!
I get downstairs to see The fire truck and ambulance from up road.... decked out in Christmas lights and Santa sitting on top!!!! They were going all through the neighborhood handing out candy canes and presents to the kids!
Grady and I got down there after the two older boys got their things so we stood on the porch watching the truck go and then come back up our road. Grady loves looking at the lights :) Next thing I hear is "WOAH stop wait a minute" The trucks stopped and out runs one of the firefighters with a present for Grady :) He said he couldn't forget the little man! hehehe
This was so cool. Love the small town friendly thing they have here :)
