This is it
Tomorrow morning at 6:30 am I will be at the hospital and starting the induction. That is of course unless the entire L&D ward is full, which I doubt in this hospital.
So I bid you all farewell...for now.

38 week update and appointment
I just have to call at 6am and make sure that all heck didn't break loose and the L&D ward is full. Which in this little town I doubt. So by 6:30 I will be at the hospital.
I am dialated to about 1-2cm. I asked the doc if he was trying to make me feel better by saying the "to 2 cm" He laughed and said yeah HEHE
The baby is still pretty high up. Cervix is thick but soft.
So all in all it looks great for Monday and should I dialate a little more before I head in then GREAT. He just instructed me to NOT go into labor this weekend because he will not be here HAHA. this would be the ONE time I go into Labor on my own!
We also went by the local PD today while we were in town.
We got our seat properly installed by the one qualified deputy we have here ;) (our police station is the official carseat safety inspection station)
He installed a noodle too to balance the seat propely. Really an easy and great experience I feel a lot better knowing this seat is properly installed and we are ready to go.

Update
DH has got the house hunting bug again. Hopefully by the end of the summer (??) we can find somewhere that works for our family. I think he is look at our growing family and the size of this house and getting some cramped feeling issues LOL. I would LOVE to stay in this town though that is my only real wish. Well that and a 4 bedroom house hehe.
The boys had a great Valentines day. We got them little presents. DH and I do not go all out on Val Day. We do not need to be told that on this day of the year you have to let your significant other know you love them.... So I think for us it has turned more into a for the kids thing.
I have had some significant cervical pain today. More today than any other day ever. Close your eyes if you getgrossed out easily... but there was even one instance that got a ton of mucous out. So I think Baby G is thinking about making a run for it hehehe.
Got a lot of sleep today... not so much last night though. I love my 4 hour naps in the late morning early afternoon.
The dogs are SUPER protective over me and very clingy (more than normal).
I still have to pick-up a changing pad for the top of baby G's dresser (his changing table) But if I do not get it... no love lost I will get it when I can. But honestly I am so ready to meet my new son! I know he will look JUST like dh. I am merely a pod for his clones hehe. But I do get a red headed baby out of the deal... though just temporarily ;)
OK I am off of here. I am helping DS#2 make fudge brownies for the family for dessert ;)

well the dr update
No weight gain BUT my fingers hands and wrists are swollen :(
My test for Group B strep came back positive this time. It is upsetting BUT not the end of the world. The baby should be just fine. I will have 2 courses or antibiotics while being induced/in labor. If I can get those courses in I will be great and Baby G will for sure be protected. I cannot remember being tested last time and Little G ended up with pnemonia after birth.... which can be caused by the Group B strep. Makes me wonder (and want to look through those records just to find out). It can lead to miscarriages too... again makes me wonder MORE. Some info on the Strep B can be read about here

The 21st is a definite go for induction. They now have my "reservation" at the hospital and the doctor is good to go that day. So 0600-0630 that morning I will be induction bound.
OK I am off to bed. Got some sleep to catch up on somehow... Maybe because of that article I read that links lack of sleep in late pregnancy with LONG labors hahah trying to avoid that ;)
Oh had to add 12 days to go!!

Things I have learned...
My sleep cycle has gone to heck in a handbasket. It has been about a month now. I cannot get to sleep until 3-5 am. I get up at 6:30am up until oh 9 then back asleep until 1-3. What in the world???
I have tried "resetting" and not sleeping in the morning/afternoon and then going to slleep early. And it works... only in the fact I then sleep from 8-9pm to 11pm then I am up until 3-5am again!! UGH! I am so behind I have a post office trip to make, a few things to get for Baby G, friends to try to keep up with (I really hope they understand).... but I just cannot function long enough to get them done. Add that onto I now need someone to drive me everywhere... well it is torture on this once VERY independant woman. Anyone have some cheese to go with my whine? Swiss sounds good hehe
The cute news... DS#2 lost his first baby tooth!!! My baby is growing up. I told him he couldn't but dang his stubbornness!! He was so proud of himself, telling everyone and showing everyone hehe. And the tooth fairy left him a whopping $10!!!! I did try to convince him that the $10 is only a one time thing for the first tooth but he is holding out hope! He has been calculating his bank account growth. with tooth money and the $10 a month he gets from my mom for excellence in reading. He is REALLY looking forward to a big fat bank account :)
And that is that for now.... I am off to read a book and get some rest before being up AGAIN lol

UGH
OK I am going to go get some Tums and figure what I can eat that will both let the heartburn stay to a minimum and and I will be able to keep it down. Wish me luck.
OH OH wait I got the stroller today this thing is sweet :)
LOVE it
I didn't get ALL the bells and whistles (like no boot, mosquito net and rain bonnet) But I can buy those if I wanted hehehe
but I am so happy we got this one.
Ended up with the Peg Perego Pliko P3
I love the adjustable handles! I am taller and I always run into having to hunch. It folds and unfolds EASY it is light too.
Great harness for the baby great fabric and padding etc
Definitely happy with our investment ;)
OK with that I am off... well OK I have always been a littl off hehehehe
