Kissing the Baby

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

Do I have a newborn???

Anyone want to tell me what in the world is up with waking up every hour on the hour?? Oh wait I did get a 2 hour stretch of sleep in there. What in the world is going on here??
Seriously, getting tiring having a baby that toys with me by letting me get a few weeks of good sleep then waking up off and on ALL NIGHT long for a week. Then repeat the pattern
GRR
As we have always said to secure the longevity of the species Mother Nature makes babies adorable so they live LOL

OOPS

Well no wonder my budget has been off about $100 per payday. It is NOT my money managing skills that are at fault. It was my preplanning to blame LOL
We refinanced the car through our current credit union. Got a KILLER interest rate. I tansfered out first official payment last month but be dammed I was $100 'off' each payday. My fault was this.... I set up the loan to take out 1/2 of the payment each payday! So I more than doubled the payment the first month alone by paying another payment too LOL

Not a big deal at all but funny as heck to me

Breathe out

Well I am a bit better today. Dh's cranial rectal interface seems to have resolved quickly (probably shortly after the incident but through the color red I could not see much)
He is proclaiming himself a horses ass. Yeah no arguments. He apologized profusely. Tried last night but again I was not ready to hear it.

And I will say he has chipped in and thank goodness done a bit more around the house. Heck if it takes me getting angry for that to happen...hmmmmmm lol. Hoping it will be a permanent change. Between his works realignment and then the week of I am leaving no I am not yes I am etc... made us both very cranky ( another reason yesterday made me so angry).

Now to get my older two to hear the resounding pop as their heads pop out of their arse.... well we will be all good. Seems there is a loss of manners, housekeeping skills and the like. Sorry but I just do not have the time to follow them around picking up after them every second of the day. They should know how to put their laundry in the basket you know?

Well tomorrow is yet another early day to drop dh off at work again (insert eyeroll and exasperated sigh here) So I am off to bed HOPING Grady sleeps through the night tonight.

By the way is it payday yet??

Angry

My husband said something when he thought I was out of earshot last night. Well I heard it and he hurt me. In 8 years he has never ever hurt me so much. I know compared to some people relationships this is NOTHING but in mine it comes as a huge disappointment in someone I care so much about. Makes me wonder... what else I am missing when I AM out of earshot.
I am still pissed today

While in high school, you and all your friends discussed elaborate plans to get together again at the end of the century and play "1999" by Prince over and over again. I honestly think yes that was discussed

hmm yeah not exactly

Your Birthdate: January 11
Your birth on the 11th day of the month makes you something of a dreamer and an idealist. You work well with people because you know how to use persuasion rather than force. There is a strong spiritual side to your nature, and you may have intuitive qualities inherent in your make up, too.
You are very aware and sensitive, though often temperamental. Although you have a good mind and you are very analytical, you may not be comfortable in the business world. You are definitely creative and this influence tends to make you more of a dreamer than a doer.
What Does Your Birth Date Mean?

-hello you know the difference between clean and dirty laundry
-hello you know what are school clothes and what are meant to mow the yard in

I could go on... but it would be a waste of time.

Maybe this is PMS... maybe it is me getting fed up to about...oh.. HERE

It has been a day of heads up buttitis. I am waiting to hear the loud resounding POP as their heads dislodge themselves!

On the note of challenging him

How far will they go to keep DS#2 from being bored? Is it too much to help an advanced child? are there too many others just barely at the minimum standards for any attention to those above the line of mediocrity?
I certainly hope this teacher does all she can to help my son continue to excel in academics. I will be contacting her to see what she needs from my end to help him.

Back to school madness

Ok not madness lol. But we had a bunch of fun. Little man showed us around his classroom. I talked to his teacher. She said she was not sure how she was going to keep him challenged this year. He scored the second highest in reading in his class. I also met his reading teacher. She was very nice (he goes to third grade for reading he is in second grade).
They boys also had fun with all of the schools activities. A balloon artist, face painter, bounce houses, the fire department etc were all there as well as having a BBQ.

Suspicious circumstances

Dh said that he better not die under any suspicious circunstances LOL
Recently his life insurance through the military increased $150,000. Then I told him last night I am going to State Farm and talk to them about life insurance for him. He is getting out of the Navy (possibly) in a mere 4 years. We need to be prepared for that. We have always talked about extra insurance... now I am DOING something about it.
he just laughed and made jokes about me having him whacked lol

Well we have an instrument

DS#1 has taken all the aptitude tests and was picked to play the trombone. I am proud of him he has put a lot of work into band so far this year. But WOW I swear the kiddos are getting into more and more expensive things. But I am te supportive mom as supportive as I can be!
Looks like we will be doing the rent to own with a local music store.
Then come November starts Lacrosse for DS#1. Nvere played or knew anything about Lacrosse. So I am learning.
DS#2 wants to start Tae Kwon Do. Okie dokie... so be it. I am 100% behind supporting their interests and sports etc. I will be checking them out this week.
Tonight is back to school night at DS#2's school. They are having a BBQ and bounce house/carnival type thing. He is excited so I am too :)
Deep breath and on with my day

Oh DS#3 slept last night so I did too
And he is in a better mood thus far today :)

WOW

Well someone call Ripley's!!!!

I am caught up on laundry, the sheets are all washed, dishes are done, Vacuuming is half done, Ironing is started the chili is cooking, will be making cornbread soon. ... and I hung up two pictures.

I hung up our Apache Wedding Blessing:
Now you will feel no rain, for each of you will be shelter for the other.
Now you will feel no cold, for each of you will be warmth to the other.
Now there will be no loneliness, for each of you will be companion to the other.
Now you are two persons, but there is only one life before you.
May beauty surround you both in the journey ahead and through all the years,
May happiness be your companion and your days together be good and long upon the earth.

And for the first time in a week and a half Grady has gone down for a nap for more than 30 minutes!!
Rejoice rejoice lol

Oh and got my call in to Childrens hospital for the items they did not send. And my ex has neglected to return the ones I did buy... Hopefully I can get those items too....

OK now I am going to go to bed before my day goes to heck in a handbasket LOL OK not really but hey I try ;)

Whew

Well I guess my oldest might very well have a bigger sigh of relief than I did.... He lost his hearing aid!!! Yup you heard that right. That thing so expensive it costs more than our truck LOL.
He has one of two places to keep it one in the bowl near the back door (if he is outside playing and all sweaty) or on his nightstand PERIOD. Well the hearing Aid was MIA for a week. So I told DS that hey until that hearing aid reappears you are on lockdown. No going out with friends no phone calls nothing-look for the hearing aid every spare moment until you find it..
Well one day I asked him to go out to the pantry in the garage (canned goods and jars, bottles etc) He comes back in SCREAMING "I found it!!! I am off of lockdown!! "
It was on the shelf with the juices!!
WHEW!!
I was trying to figure out how to buy a new one.
Well just glad it is all over

Fiscal year

Well the new fiscal year is rapidly approaching. My husbands job and the nature of it, when they have funding they USE it. So I am wondering with the realignment/merger (whatever they want to call this cluster f **k they are doing) how much will he be gone this year?
Not that I mind it much. He loves his job I have functioned longer without him and we do ok. And hey we get a few dollars extra ;)

Just some pictures

Another

It is funny. We get one of two responses from people when we are out and about with our kids. One is "wow three boys " Normally accompanied by a look of pity. "you aren't having anymore kids are you??" Or " oh look at these boys, so when are you having another" or "these boys need a sister" lol.
We already have a family that is larger than the typical family size around with our 3 children.

Yes we plan on more children. Some call us crazy to want such a HUGE family (maybe one or two more children lol) But I find it funny STILL lol that strangers feel he need to ask/comment about our reproductive plans.

Check out

Our video link there on the side. Check out the Grady man.... bringing us all a great laugh and him wrapping daddy around his little finger ;)

Also

A bit of sadness..... We have taken down the co-sleeper. Grady is officially not sleeping in our room any more :(

He is getting to be such a big boy.

I love having boys

Just a quick little note. I love having my boys... This was again reaffirmed after shopping the other day. Looking at little girls clothing... There was not much at all that did not qualify as 'prostitot' wear. LOVE that term for it HAHAHA.
How old and cheap do people want these little girls to look?

Well they may NOT love us

Hubby is back at Lowes... his third trip in 2 days LOL. Turns out as much as we KNEW the measurements of that front door (because of our move in fiasco with our fridge) umm yeah No. And us being in the autopilot state we have been we didn't measure to be sure last night. After dh brought home the door today I asked if he had meausred to be sure. Sure enough we need a larger door LOL
So My dear hubby while grumbling under his breath has loaded the door BACK in the car and is headed back to Lowes to exchange it.
Good thing though he did check it before the installers got here eh?
So that is being taken care of. He is going to be in such a joyful mood today having to drive back and forth to Lowes.

Well We have

DA DA DA DA DA DA DA... for about the last half hour Grady has been saying DADA and BABABABA (Which made us bust into singing Barbara Ann lol)
DH is of course not here to listen to the whole DADA thing... and of course by the time he gets back home, the DADADA will have stopped :)

Not sure

I am not sure if I like the new blog layout or background... It may grow on me but I think I will change it. Not much the teddy bear type... thanks though hubby for trying :) So I will either create my own template or find another that will work for me better

Lowes LOVES us LOL

Well being homeowners your new favorite stores are the home improvement stores :)
Today we went to Lowes. We bought the boys their vertical blinds. They got the cordless blinds. Just easier and I think, safer.

We also got our storm door!! It is a Pella Rollscreen storm door. It is JUST the one I wanted :) And to think I didn't have to post about it in my blog to get it hahahah

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

And as my husband says "honey with age comes some convenience" We got the installation (but hey it was only 1/2 price)

And now we are officially B-R-O-K-E. But hey we are homeowners right? Every cent goes toward the house itself.

So tomorrow we have 4 sets of blinds to install. I cannot get out of helping even with my bum finger.
