Pictures (have I posted enough lately?)

Whoda thunk it
He was telling me last night how good I looked. Heck the man ALWAYS tells me that. I can look my worst. Much like right now sweats and hair up... he will tell me I am sexy. I just do not pay the man enough LOL
The fact alone that he told me last night that I have lost all this weight... ummm yeah he is a keeper!!
I like being happily married. Never thought that was possible either

Random pictures

Yes I am feeding myself-Yes I am messy. And it makes me happy!!!!

You cannot see me under this table... it is only your imagination....

Hi Look at me at 8 months old!!

Today
Gradyman turned 8 months this Saturday. The same day my oldest son turned 11!! 11?!?!? wow It seems like just yesterday he was born. My 10 pound 3 ounce baby boy. He is turning into a wonderful young man. He has some problems but he does amazingly well ... yeah I am proud of him.
Life is going well I have to admit. I will be happier when the mortgage company unscrews themselves and straightens out our payments made. But that is it.. HAHA nice to have one issue in your life :)
Grady is crawling more and more. He is honing those skills it will not be long before he is shooting off like a rocket :)
Grady has had a fever these past 2 days. Maybe teething is the culprit?
OK well headed upstairs to fold laundry and load the next load. Oh my it is great living the life of luxury as a SAHM eating bon bons, feet up, cabana boys... lol

Making a go of it
So wish us luck and some sanity HAHA
Obstinance defined
I tell ya... my third child.... he s a firecracker. He has this spark in his eyes a little glimmer of look out world here comes Grady.
Miniman puts me through my paces that is for sure. He is either quicker than my others or I am older and slower. For those of you who chimed in slower... shame on you hahaha. Ok I admit it... probably a combo of both.
Gradyman is a talker now. Lots coming out of his mouth. All but Mama... Let me share with you a funny little bit. I am in the store Grady in the sling. He is saying Dada... smiles his coy little smile and then I say "no say Mama" he laughs one good HA looks me in the eye and says "dada" (again refer up to that definition). What a little booger. Anyway this conversation continued for awhile just like that him refusing to say mama. The kiddos says "Mmmmmm" when he wants to eat... he can make the sounds. he is just stubborn.
But I take heart in knowing one day (and probably one day soon) he will look at me and melt my heart when he looks in my eyes and says "mama".
I love my little guy :)

8 years ago today
This man married me and took on everything that came with me. Including becoming a devoted father to a 2 year old boy. Not many men would take on a single mom. I am so happy my husband did.
So We got married in front of a few family and friends and then started our adventure of a life by packing EVERYTHING I owned and moving to a strange place some 600 miles away.
It has been great and fun since day one. Now here we are, 8 years and 2 more boys later.... going as strong as ever.
I could go on and on about dh but I do not want anyone to go into a diabetic coma from all the sweetness LOL
Just Another Day in Paradise
The kids screaming, phone ringing
Dog barking at the mailman bringing
That stack of bills - overdue
Good morning baby, how are you?
Got a half hour, quick shower
Take a drink of milk but the milk's gone sour
My funny face makes you laugh
Twist the top on and I put it back
There goes the washing machine
Baby, don't kick it.
I promise I'll fix it
Long about a million other things
Well, it's ok. It's so nice
It's just another day in paradise
Well, there's no place that
I'd rather be
Well, it's two hearts
And one dream
I wouldn't trade it for anything
And I ask the lord every night
For just another day in paradise
Friday, you're late
Guess we'll never make our dinner date
At the restaurant you start to cry
Baby, we'll just improvise
Well, plan B looks like
Dominoes' pizza in the candle light
Then we'll tippy toe to our room
Make a little love that's overdue
But somebody had a bad dream
Mama and daddy
Can meand my teddy
Come in to sleep in between?
Yeah it's ok. It's so nice.
It's just another day in paradise.
Well, there's no place that
I'd rather be
Well, it's two hearts
And one dream
I wouldn't trade it for anything
And I ask the lord every night
For just another day in paradise
Well, it's ok. It's so nice.
It's just another day in paradise.
Well, there's no place that
I'd rather be
Two hearts
And one dream
I wouldn't trade it for anything
And I ask the lord every night
For just another day in paradise
For just another day in paradise
Well, it's the kids screaming. The phone ringing
Just another day
Well, it's Friday. You're late
Oh yeah, it's just another day in paradise

The update
We did make him explain to his brothers what he did, why it was wrong and what the possible alternatives are. THAT is when he started to cry. He apologized for being a bad role model and told his brothers to never do something like he did. I will tell you it took all I had not to cry as well.
So today has gone well he did his chores and ate dinner and stayed in his room. WE will see how it goes tomorrow and the next day. I for one cannot wait for Saturday lol
Dear son
Say goodbye to:
the fresh air
to video games
to TV
to the radio
to any life that does not involve you your room and a book or notepad. That is unless it involves chores or homework of course.
As you are saying your goodbye realize this one thing my dear boy. YOU are the one who made it this way. Let me run this down one more time. It is not OK under any circumstance to lay your hands on another person. Not matter how valiant you THINK you are being. It is never OK to challenge a child to a fight, after you punched said individual in the back.
You called me and your first words from the principals office were "I'm sorry" darn right you are!! You know better. How dare you! Since when has it been ok and from whom did you learn that hitting is an acceptable form of communication??
Were all of the adults gone? No teachers on campus? Child I know you know better. You need to get that temper in check immediately.
I think cooling off in your room this week will help with that. Oh and you are going to love me standing at the bus stop with you in the mornings too. Act like an uncivilized child... ugh back to square one.
Oh let me add if you get home and "I don't know" and "I didn't think" are your only answers to my multitude of inquires.... I will bust out the thesaurus to help your word selection.

Hey you!! yeah YOU!
I have been a VERY unhappy woman these past few MONTHS. Haven't you all heard if momma ain't happy ain't nobody happy? Well I ain't happy!! I am fricken overwhelmed when the tornados come through my house in the afternoon and mess up EVERYTHING I cleaned. Then AGAIN do it in the morning before you leave for school.
Now for you husband.. honestly you ar ok. You are helping. I appreciate that. But damn man are you a victim of if momma ain't happy????
I feel so on edge. Not fun not what my family is like or has been like.
What in the world happened to my family?
Christmas
Today I think we finally setteled on what to get the boys. As with EVERY Christmas Eve, they will get Pj's. I am also making Grady a blanket and a fabric book. I am making the two older boys Star Wars pillows and hmm a blanket or PJ pants (I have the flannel already). Hubby came up with the perfect gift from Santa. A Laser tag set! Perfect for the older two to get OUT and play yippie. Grady I can pick up a Santa gift and a couple more toys (of course pjs for him too). They will also get socks and underwear LOL And a couple of books each
Now here is where we are debating. The boys REALLY REALLY want to get the Nintendo DS. I am contemplating getting them the Nintendo DS systems from Costco ( these here ) But OUCH on the price huh??
I have made a few $ from Ebay. If everything else I have sells I will have at least one paid for but still.
Ugh... When they get older toys get so dang expensive.

My baby!!!
He asked a neighbor girl to go with him and she said yes. They are friends not boyfriend and girlfriend acording to him. BUT he says he 'likes' her too. Lordy he is too young for this!
He went the other day to her house and met her parents and brought them to our house to meet hubby and I. He is being a real stand up gentleman about the whole thing I think.
He had a great time he said and he busted out his dance moves he learned from the dance pad hehehe

OUCH! Dangit
I have started a walking regimen. I am walking one of three different routes 1.5-2 miles depending on which route I take. The hills!!! OK did I say once I like hills and mountains?? yeah I lied (OK not really but work with me here). My calves are SCREAMING. This morning making it down the stairs was a pain in the butt! It actually hurt. I was so tempted to say scratch the walk and just stay in... But I did it anyway.
It will get easier (right???) and I can sneak in some jogging in my walk eventually.
And a HUGE thank you to Michelle for the stroller! It is heaven on the hills and rougher roads. One of the best Shower gifts :)

That is it Ma!!!!
HAHA I rolled away from you. Dangit do you carry that camera EVERYWHERE?!?!?!?!

OK one knee under me

OK up on 2 knees and up off the ground

And on my toes!!

Well
I followed up on voicemail lady. I get a "Oh I haven't checked my messages" Yeah that is why I am following up lady!
Voicemail lady turns out to be fairly decent and seems knowledgable at her job. She has a contact at the new(current) mortgage company. She is personally contacting her herself and resolving the issue and will call me back when she gets word.
NOW in the meantime hubby has treked over to PSD (the pay folks) and has the PROOF of the 2 payments "that were never made". He faxed it to the new company ....refered to as the Idiots from here on out.
OK that is done... now to figure out if we are paying taxes on 2 lots of land and not one! Yeah the joys of homeownership are not that joyful this week. And it is only Tuesday!!
Cranial rectal interface
All was fine and dandy. The old company got the Aug payment since the loan sold AFTER it was due. And the old company got the Sept payment. I set up a payment for the new place for Oct 1. All was going great, falling well within RESPA standards. Yeah well I check online at the new company after the payment cleared our bank yesterday. Late fees?? what?!?!?! we are never late. Not just late fees but 2 MONTHS of late fees!! Which is in violation of RESPA!!! We got reported to the credit agencies and all! We have NOT had any late payments!!!
So I have to track down the payments at the old company, I did after being transferred 3 times. I ask Great now fax that info to.... "oh no ma'am I cannot do that let me transfer you to..." OMG!!!!! BITE ME!!! I get that persons VOICEMAIL!!! GRRRRR
I just want this resolved yesterday people!!!
I am not now nor have I been late in my payments.

And the reason is
Yeah cry me a river I am DONE hearing about your money woes and the last time you will get any sympathy from me was after your wife called and cried poverty and then you all went and bought X, Y and Z lol
Eh I am working at getting an at home job to make up YOUR half too buttmunch!
OK that is entirely too much time wasted on him. So DONE
Can I vent?
My ex and I share a child, my oldest son. Dh has taken on my oldest as his own and has done SO much for him. He pays for medical, dental, etc etc etc. That aside from the love and fatherly type stuff.
This year my oldest started middle school. And also started band. He LOVES band loves playing an instrument and everything. He asked if he could take lessons as well. Dandy I will do what I have to to get him those lessons.
I talk to my ex about lessons a trombone purchase etc. Asked him to please try to pay half. He sounded proud of his son and willing to help. Lessons a month are $60. The trombone is $300. What do I get as his contribution from the ex??? $10.00 Yes TEN dollars. UGH I am sorry but damn hello???
My son asked how much his dad sent extra so I told him. Would you believe the boy offered to EARN the money for some of his lessons?!?!?!?! He is learning his example from someone!
DS#1 wants to play LaCrosse this season too... $125 for registration fees, $175 for uniforms Wonder if I can get $5 to help with that?? (insert eyeroll here)
Thank GOD my husband treats DS#1 as his own and doesn't pull the I will not pay let
his dad do it.
Oh that $10 went to DS#1's first dance ticket! Yup he asked a girl and she said yes :) How cute is that?
Oh I wanted to add my husband pulled some strings to get off early today and take DS#1 to his music lessons HIMSELF!
