Having lived through a bad command (USS Tarawa) you REALLY Appreciate the good ones. There have been times in the past recently when I have grumbled about dh's job. But I have to say they are great about giving DH the time off for family things, field trips, dr appointments etc. We have an appointment tomorrow bright and early (read in there battle rush hour traffic) in Seattle they told dh just check in in the am (via a phone call) and take the day for the appointment. That is so cool and I appreciate it so much :)
