My Husband

He got a taste of the utter hell I am going through with all three kids in the car. We have a Mazda Tribute. Though 5 years older ;) It worked OK when we had two kids it was even passable when Grady was in the center rear facing in his carseat and the two older were a little smaller. Now The two oldest have grown. The oldest has grown UP and out- filling out. My middle son has grown up (only 4 inches shorter than his oldest brother). Add to that they sit elbow to elbow and both have personal space issues. #1 doesn't understand or respect it and #2 DEMANDS it. They bicker and poke and bicker and whine and bicker and prod and bicker... did I say Bicker??? The baby however was the best behaved! Only occasionaly trying to rip off #2's glasses to irk him.
Yesterday by the time we went from SEATAC To about a mile from downtown my dear Husband (dh) was about to pull out what little hair he does have!!
It is getting old and QUICK I do not want to take all of them anywhere together. It is a stressful thing to do. I learned that the Toyots Sienna is coming out with a hybrid!! It chould be out late next year. But you know what??? We HAVE to buy a bigger car before then, as much as I didn't want to. Get a used van. One in good enough shape to get me to and from for the year until I can get a new car. Otherwise I will strap one child to the roofrack and one to the bumper and call it a day.
So take out a small loan to pay for a used car and save my sanity. While some may argue it is worth saving. If I had $4k right now there is a van here on the island that would work.
OK car whine over. Hmmm maybe soe rich person will read this, take pity on me and a new (or heck even used) car will show up in my driveway. Or maybe my Dad DID leave some life insurance policy and I am a beneficiary and it has just taken a few years to be setteled HAHAHAHA yeah riiiiiight
