I made chicken fried steak, mashed red potatoes w/ garlic, a fresh salad- fresh greens from the produce stand with tomatoes and sweet onions. And of course Watermelon for dessert....you hungry??

Well a few things. One the dogs love the fanced yard. I like the fact that they cannot get out nor can other critters get IN!
Hyperdog Is their new favorite toy. OMG they go giddy over this thing. Now to get a BIG bucket of tennis balls as a few good chomps and the ball is toast LOL.
We have been approved to adopt a dog from
SPDR German Shepherd Rescue . Now we are waiting on a match! It is a long wait... OK it FEELS like a long wait hahaha. The one dog that would have fit us was adopted. So we wait.

On the guinea pig front. We are looking to adopt a buddy for our guniea. NOT a female we DON'T want babies haha just Guineas do better in pairs. So wish us luck there too.

Dh is coming home early :) A day early but he is headed home! Actualy should be on the plane right now ***insert big ol' grin here**

I know I complain about him messing up my schedule when he is home on leave but from having him home all the time to gone it was odd

two Children's museums. I am D O N E .
I have also made 10 jars of jam raspberry and marionberry. All ready for the year we will have a stocked jam pantry haha.

Bathroom two all taped and about 1/4 done. Holy moly I am tired! Going to try to have it all done by Thursday. Wish me luck.

Considering my bathroom alone is about half the size as my first apartment ... I will need all the luck I can get!

I am taking the men out for ice cream tomorrow ;) so we will all get the much needed break and some fun!

OK I think I picked the HOTTEST days to decide to start my painting!!!!
I am 10-15 minutes in there and I am dripping sweat! In a bathroom with no flow through ventilation OMG!!! And this is just the Primer coat!!!!

Surprised you did I???? Didn't expect me back so soon did you? Yeah I noticed that when you came out explaining why you were using MY sprinkler to water YOUR lawn. All I want is for you to ASK. Do not TAKE.... I will more than likely lend it to you no problem but to just take it? That isn't borrowing as you said you "borrowed my sprinkler" that is you STOLE it and did not expect to be caught.

Someone must really want to hurt me. I keep getting emails from companies for "the mother to be". Fisher Price, Pampers etc. I know I didn't sign up as pregnant. Nothing like getting emails that taunt you and your inability to get pregnant.

There is nothing more pure, more innocent than a baby. Grady was out yesterday running in the sprinkler in the back yard...naked! The pure joy on his face the fun he was having it was wonderful. I could have watch him have fun for hours :)

Hesaid to me today how he felt bad he hasn't spent much time with me on his 2 weeks off. He has no idea how much he has helped me! I mean he has almost singlehandedly built a fence, put up the microwave, two ceiling fans, cleaned my dryer vent AND for good measure he cleaned out the gutters too!!

He leaves for a short stit soon and I will have my projects but man oh man I am VERY impressed with how dang good he has done. He has a lot to be proud of!

I have a fence I have a feeennnnncccccccccceeeeeeeeeee. Dh totally ROCKS! He is finishing up now by constructing the gates but it is DONE!!!!!

Gradyman LOVES Sesame street. Seriously he gets giddy when it comes on. There is this part where Cookie Monster does the letter of the day thing... and he always gives into temptation and eats the letter. Hey he IS Cookie Monster afterall and he insists all the letters look like cookies! Grady giggles when the skit comes on and then gets a VERY serious look on his face and shakes his head NO at Cookie or Shakes his head and wags his finger NO. It is hillarious

He is also at the stage that he thinks if he can't see you than you cannot see him. if you catch him doing something and say no or call his name he covers his eyes and holds really still. HAHAH If you annot see me I cannot get into trouble!

While the origins of this are completely false I still find the mere thought of this being on a schools answering machine as perfect.

eating blueberries with my brother

Well you know how people joke about something and then really shortly after wish they hadn't?

Yesterday I joked with dh about how I shouldn't be allowed a hammer, I am afterall accident prone. HAHA had a laugh I took the hammer and started to put up brackets for the 2x4's. All was going OK until BAM!!! while holding the bracket I swung the hammer and caught my finger between the metal bracket and the hammer. Blood everywhere. I am standing on the porch in a puddle of blood waiting on a bandaid HAHA.

I am ok. The post is marked with my blood haha and I am hurting and my finger is swollen. It looks to be healing OK though. Oh and umm I would prefer NOT to swing a hammer again LOL

My mother was here for a few days. It was HONESTLY one of the better visits. She slept normal hours was out and about and in a good mood.

She even offered to watch the kids so DH and I could go to the movies. ONLY after DS#3 went to sleep for the night though. Like I said all well and good in theory. But he goes to bed at what 8:30-9 pm? We live in the sticks that is the time the last movie starts and everything else is closed hahaha. So yeah we didn't get a chance to go out alone. Soon enough we will though.

Well that is it all of the posts are set!!!

Giving it a couple of days to cure then finishing up the fence. But the hard labor well labor intensive part is done. DONE DONE DONE

Dh is kicking MAJOR butt on this fence I am SO proud of him!

Ok seriously folks real in person friendships with women and me.... not something that happens much. I just can't understand how complicated most women make things.

I was on the phone with DS (who is at the ex's) Dh takes the phone to talk to him all is great I then get back on the phone with DS and say my goodbyes and Love yous. DH told me the ex's wife cut off DS from telling a story he told me and wanted to tell Dad too. Hmm odd so I in an attempt to open the lines of communication, call back and ask the ex's wife hey DS was telling my DH a story he told me and you made him stop. What happened? HONEST TO GOD not aaccusatory or mean very casual and honestly I just wanted to know what was going on.

This opened lines of communication all right. Saying how I tell my son not to tell them anything (not true) and a 15 minute accusing me of everything under the sun when I am repeatedly saying "I am not mad honest no all I wanted to know was... no that isn't It no I ......" Yeah then I get the whole "Is that it? Well have a nice day " click

WTF?!?!?!?!?!?!

I just called to ask what happened (maybe I missed something) I get an earful about things I couldn't give a rip about. That woman has serious issues with me! I can assure her I do NOT want her "man" I can assure her I am also not the 19 y/o she seems to think I still am. Ugh Back the hell off -put your pride or issues or whatever the hell on the flippin back burner and MOVE THE HELL ON. She knows she got involved with a man with a child and I am that childs mother and she either has to deal with me or bite her tounge especialy around my child. You will NEVER hear me saying that stuff around DS.


UGH. Here I am the Mom trying to be civil with the step mom and see what I get??? And people wonder why that rarely happens HAHAHA

I have had this blog for 2 years as of TODAY! Two years ago I posted my story about learning I was pregnant.

Yeah that cinches it! Ummmm I have no skill when it comes to manual labor anymore. Yes I am woman hear me WIMP OUT!

I tried to help dh ou a little because while he in on his last few fence holes.... He is BEAT. Yeah I got a few inches dug, hit one rock and hurt my wrist. I almost called the waaaaaahmbulance!

Let me add too I wore the wrong shoes out there and we well DH had not cleared out the stupid beauty bark I am allergic to. Well now my feet are all hivey! UGH Benadryl. I should own stock in Pfizer!

The other night dh and I started to sing (and debate a line of) the Log Theme from Ren & Stimpy. You know

And do you know I cannot find the logic in this. Though you know we are talking about local goverment here. We have OVERpaid our county property taxes since we moved here. By $600. Well we PAID it through our escrow account. Fine and dandy. They FINALLY got around to adjusting the amounts they cut a refund check..... TO THE ESCROW ACCOUNT! Geeze!

I feel very 50's era wife. I have made him food and made sure he has had enough tea and all. Meanwhile I have been inside doing dishes, laundry and taking care of the baby.

I have offered to get out there and pitch in but my offers have not been taken up yet.

Well my handyman is hard at work! Digging fence post holes. He is working his butt off and doing a GREAT job. I am so very proud of him.

at the store I was buying a small hard plastic baby pool. I had Grady there with me. As we were leaving a gentleman said to Grady "Oh look at that you lucky boy. You got a pool" To which I replied, "No this is for our dog"
The look that man gave was one of confusion and maybe a bit of feeling sorry for the little boy who is looked over for the DOG! lol

It isn't all that strange that I buy things like that for my dog is it? He (ouir German Shepherd) loves to play in a pool :) He hates being sprayed by the hose so this is a great way to keep him cool

I have had this bouncing around in my head for days now. And now that I have a moment I will put pen to paper...er fingers to the keyboard.

I would love to have more children. For a woman who never thought she wanted kids or would be a good wife... I want a houseful of children. I really do. At this point I would love to have one more biological child. However it would be wonderful to adopt a child as well. My husband however I think has some reservations about adoption. Something I didn't know until recently.

I would be lying if I would say that it weren't a disappointment. With my past, what if I cannot have any more children? With my current health blips too (less than an issue is a blip HAHAHA) I forsee more problems. I seriously feel though that our family, while wonderful is not yet complete. Does that make sense?

OK Too darn deep to think about on Independence Day!

A bunch of fireworks inside the house + a little bit of rain + a VERY excited 7 year old = MELTDOWN! Poor kid was so disappointed that it was raining. Good news is it looks like it has cleared up again!

Looks like we MAY have a winner!! This one actualy seems to WORK! Wooohoooo!!!
Allegra it is :) Lets hope it continues to work too :)

Today I swear my husband is in uber Dad mode. He is just being GREAT. The kids adore him :) He has been much more willing to have some kid like fun with the munchkins :) Jumping on the trampoline, playing watergun tag etc. This afternoon we all went out and played in the yard and had a fantastic time. Simple little family time but it is THE best.
