Well

I wish I could say I was starting off the new year in a great mood and things were all tulips and daisies etc. But I am in a major grumpy mood (my poor kids). The stress of the things lately has worn me down. I am tired of being sick and taking care of sick kids. I need to get the house completely organized, which is leading to the anxiety and the bad mood. Ugh I need to take a few breaths and a step back and just let it all go.
I am doing ok everyone has ups and downs I just happen to blg about them haha
2006 was a year of ups and downs. Mostly ups though :) The year was full of lots of changes and it only gets more interesting from here on out.
I do not make resolutions. No sense in vowing to do something I wont do. Eh why lie?
I typically just look back at the year (as I am sure we all do) and look forward to the next.
NEXT year (hehe it is still before midnight here) I will see my husband again (down to a little under a month!). We will hopefully make some progress on the adoption front (you can read my thoughts on that Here)
I hope the new year is full of new and exciting things for my family and all of you as well.

I admit

I have done a LOT of online shopping this year. I got some great deals though so I do not feel too bad ;) I actually took advantage of some of the online coupons and saved nearly $40 on one order at Target taking advantage of their 10% off offer. I will be checking the site when I go to purchase our bedset. Have I mentioned lately how much I want my room painted?? haha

As I

Sit here and watch Sesame Street AGAIN with #3 I remember how I used to dream about going to Sesame Street when I was a kid! I wanted to be on the show so bad. I honestly thought it was a real place haha. Hey maybe it was down the street from the Romper Room haha I waited every day for her to call my name. Dang what was her name? Ugh heck if I can remember. I can picture her in my head and everything.

Loans

You know it has come to that time of the year... Well almost anyway. Where the BUZZ of buy buy buy for Christmas and all of the holiday parties and buying outfits etc wears off and then the bills come due. It is a bit of a panic I am sure. And a holy smokes did the kids really need that big of a Christmas?? haha. Lots of folks choose to get loans to pay everything off and then only have the one bill to pay, much easier that way that is for sure. Personal loans are a good option to look into Some folks use secured loans. Heck as long as you are in debt buy a house- mortgages! Haha seriously though the house was one of the best investments we have ever made. Eh whatever you do with your finances, just be careful you don't get in over your head.

5 things!

Ok folks I have been tagged byHeather. OK I will admit it has been a long flippin' time for me to get around to it too. A million apologies.

ok here we go.... this may be old news to some (or most)

1. I never owned a cell phone until about 4 years ago. I just didn't see the need. Now it is my necesary evil

2. My husband and I are ordained ministers! No really quit laughing. We did this years ago. I am not sure if it was as a joke on a bet or on a whim.

3. I met my husband online. Since the time we FIRST chatted online to our wedding date....six months! From the time we met face to face for the first time to when we got married, 4 months.

4. In high school I was in advanced and college prep classes. I proceeded to drop out the fall of my Senior year (went on to graduate through adult school). I lived on my own (also had before that) went down one hell of a bad road however I don't want to change a thing. I learned about myself and life and people.

5. I have stupid little 'crushes' on the smart and aloof types on tv. Like the lead detectives on Law and Order etc LOL funny but true.

I am not going to tag anyone else. because at the moment I am pretty flippin' lame and cannot think of anyone to tag who hasn't already been tagged

Boise

My uncle made the move to the Boise area a while back. He is in the tech industry and WAS in CA working out of the Pleasonton area. But you know the cost of living and the cost of production etc just got to be too much. So he and the family moved to the Boise area. From what I have heard about it, it is very family vriendly. I liked it when we passed through. I cannot say that I loved the area. to be honest a bit too much brown for my tastes. But then again I think it was August when we went through there haha. maybe it is better in the Spring? It isn't offensice though and hey there is a Sonic! haha We are still in the market for the place to "retire" (retiring from the Navy and retiring retiring are two different things lol) Boise homes for sale. We know that we are staying here (hopefully) until the oldest graduates high school. But a lot depends on where the next few years will take us as far as dh's career.

Well #1

son is back home. Just in time to prepare for the new year :)
If I were to say he was excited to get the Wii it would be an understatement! What I did was wrap up the Wii-mote and the nunchuck and we brought it with us. He called Dad on the cell and opened the present while we were heading up the 405.... His screams almost shattered the windows in the van! LMAO he was so darn happy.
I of course tortured him by making a stop by Fry's electronics (man I miss having one of those close) I picked up MY Christmas presents. I got a DVD changer and both season 5 and season 6 part 1 of the Sopranos! WOOHOO I also stopped by Trader Joes. I got some pumpkin ale and blueberry wheat ale both by The Sea Dog Microbrewery Of course the boys got their favorites, organic strawberry lemonade and Spicy apple cider. Oh and a trip to Trader Joes wouldn't be complete without hummus ;p
We picked up pizza too even though I had made 15 bean soup in the crockpot (it smells flippin' awesome).

tonight

I will put my computer on the OTHER side of my bedroom. I have been sleep emailing!!!! No kidding! Ambien has it's side effects and all they listed sleep eating and sleep driving but sleep emailing?? Yeah well I do it! lol Good thing they aren't bad, they don't make too much sense. It is in context with something I would normally write BUT all garbled. Heck I wrote my husband about missing him and then something about INDIA!!! WTF?!?!?!
OK I am off to sleep the day starts early and I am not sure my middle son will even turn off the Wii and go to sleep! lol

The joys

Of being the boy who gets THE hot item on everyones Christmas list

My son

He just lost a tooth :) I told him it is greedy to expect the Tooth Fairy and Santa to visit the same night hahaha. He laughed and said he just expected the Tooth Fairy to show tomorrow instead ;)
I love that kid he is so caring and so flexible and good humored.

My oldest called his Christmas Eve present was Magic the Galthering cards.. He calle dme to say ONE thing WHAT IS DAD'S NUMBER?!?!?!?!?!?! So he called accross the country to spread his excitement. I think that is really cool. definite father type material...... Of course with the time difference he worke up dad haha but they talked .

Thinking

one thing painting does for me is gives me time to think. I know Lord help us all right?
I have encountered several people in my lifetime. Many have come and gone without a second thought. There are a few though that stick in my mind and I always wonder about throughout the years. Most I have lost contact with. The years and miles left many people behind. Some I was VERY VERY happy to say goodby to them haha others I feel I screwed things up while going through the young and dumb part of my life.
I was VERY happy to reconnect with one of my friends and learn about how he was doing. He was someone who I never stopped thinking about. Not in the romantic way but in the I hope he is doing alright type of way. I still worry about him and stuff he is going through right now but I know that bugs him a bit but eh what can I say I worry about people.
I have connected with a few people I have wondered about. And through them I connected with others. There are still a few I wonder about though. Eh maybe I try to hang onto the past too much? Or I want to reconnect to it too much? Who knows.
I have a wonderful and exciting (no really quit laughing) life but I guess I will always wonder.

Done

I painted the downstairs bathroom. It is a nice color and I am glad I picked it out. It is not orangy and definitely not pink like DH first said he thought it would be.
So I went from this:

I have

been doing my best to keep my spirits up this Christmas. To be honest I do NOT have it bad or anything just different. In all the years we have been married this is the first Christmas I have not spent with my husband. I know I should count my lucky stars but still. There were a few Christmases where the boys and I all crowded in one bed waiting for Dad to walk in the door Christmas morning (I am smiling from the memories here)waiting to dive into the stockings and presents.... But here I am this year no husband and no oldest son. My oldest I OFFERED for his dad to spend the holiday with him. But I regret it and I miss him (my son not the ass er ex) too. But then again it has been forever since his Dad has spent Christmas day with him so it is fair.
Anyway I have been very down this season. I am not even cooking dinner this year. I just cannot reason cooking for only a few people. I JUST bought a table top tree to have something to put the presents around. I didn't take the boys out to cut down the tree, no Christmas train around the tree, no traditional ornaments etc. I just don't see the NEED for it this year.
I hate to say it and I won't let the kids know but I cannot wait for the holidays to be OVER!! Talk about a funk... I am in one

No what?!?!?!

OK so I got a Wii I should b happy right? Well some of our silly little traditions we are still doing this year. That includes Christmas Eve Hot Cocoa. Since we have been her we have got White chocolate hot cocoa from Camano Island Coffee This year they were SOLD OUT. Not one package left. Yes it is THAT good. So we got a new flavor Raspberry truffle hot cocoa!! It soulds interesting if nothing else ;p
I did pop next door to Brindles and picked up a bottle of both blackberry and raspberry wine for Mom!
So we are set for Christmas Eve. Nothing requires assembly so I am set. I do need to bake cookies for Santa though :)

Spanish

So funny I dreamed about speaking Spanish last night. I remember saying that even with 5 years of Spanish in high school I was virtually worthless when it came to translating. Truth in dreams anyone?? lol I am impressed with all of the different teaching and well learning methods that are out there now much like FSI Course Programmatic Spanish. The approach to learning is pretty original I think.

In the running for

Mom of the year apparently. I ended up running accross a Wii So the boys are getting one for Christmas. They are also getting the Wii sports that comes with the console, Zelda, SpongeBob and some Truck racing game. Put that on top of the other gifts and I think I did pretty well. I am getting a DVD player from my loving husband :) But I am waiting for the after Christmas sales to get one ;)

Equity

We refinanced the house well actually the 20% in a home equity loans
and took a little extra money to do some improvements. We built a fence. Which by the way withstood the wind better than the 'professionaly' built fences that were just built (Thank you very much). We also paid off the car, which has since been traded in paid of credit cards etc. It was well worth it especially with as much equity as we have built in this place ;)

The rabbit and

The dog...

I got a very rude awakening at 3am. Well then again most awakenings at 3 am are RUDE. My German Shepherd was playfully running back and forth in the hallway. This dog likes to sleep more than I do so this was a rarity for him. Turns out Domino, #2's rabbit, had once again Houdini'd his way out of his cage and was PLAYING with the dog! OK the dog I can see but what a ballsy rabbit of all of 3-4 pound playing with a 100 pound German Shepherd!
The news is today I built a new rabbit condo hehehe If that bunny can break out of there then I will turn the house over to him HAHAHA

Tomorrow

I am heading out to buy the paint for both #1 son's room and the downstairs bath. It should be relatively quick, not too much of a holiday shopping rush at the local hardware store ;) But then again stranger things have happened.
It looks like we are not heading to Seattle on christmas. There is a local Mexican place open on Christmas day that #2 son would rather go to sooo I guess that is what we will do.

maybe this

will work? I just posted how I have a cold. By the way I HATE being sick I am not sure if I have said that yet haha. Taking something to give my system a boost may be ideal at this point For Immune System Revival use Glycosure. It is supposed to work relatively well and pretty darn quick. It may be worth a go.

**this post sponsored by http://www.faithmeds.com/glycosure.html

ICK

Ick ick ick I am SICK. Yup the power outtages and I guess the stress has finally got to me. It wore me down I officially have a cold. I feel like tar. I am sweaty and all around BLAH. Forget taking a shower I end up all nasty anyway. Not that you all care but still LOL
I am down to officially one month left with dh gone :) So I am a sort timer. Well actually this was a short one all together lol But not much left.

Window film

Oh you know with the back of our house getting so much sun exposure window tinting would be a neat idea for the back windows. I would ezpecially go for it if we had to take down that tree when we built our fence. Our car already had the UV window tinting. I like the added privacy feature too ;)

Stocked

I went to the commissary AKA comiscary and did some shopping and restocking of my pantry. Mainly my canned goods pantry was VERY bare. With the power outtages we went through the canned goods pretty quick. OK I admit I also got the dogs a treat. I got them Frosty Paws Dog Ice cream. Yes I spoil my pets. I admit it. They know it too.
I picked up some things for the boys too like Jones Juices :) he LOVE Bada Bing Cherry lol I think he just likes to say it to be honest.
So here I sit today, waiting on the milk man and our mail carrier. Not that exciting. Well I am doing laundry too yippie skippy.
I miss having my husband here. I miss the companionship and the friendship ok ok as well as all of the other bonus stuff too. But about a month left and that will be it :)

Cholesterol

**this post sponsored by http://www.faithmeds.com

You know I consider myself lucky. With my health problems with my blood pressure and all My cholesterol is perfect. All of the numbers are where they should be. Not everybody is that lucky though. I have several family members that have cholesterol problems . Mow they can
Lower your Cholesterol with Cholestycare Apparently it is 99% effective. Those are some damn good odds.

The Navy

Well they have finally figured out how to remove their head from their arses and have posted how much travel pay the old man will be getting. Fine and dandy right? Yeah the pay still hasn't dropped yet! lol So we can see it on paper but cannot see it in our account. It has been up since Friday I think. Are they WALKING the money into the bank? lol I just hope he has the money by tomorrow.

Oh can I?!?!?!

West Side Story will be at the 5th Avenue theatre in May!!!I want to go. I think maybe myself and the oldest would have a great night going out to see this.

Get

out much? yeah well I don't. Ok wait that sounded bad. Seriously I want to travel and see the world. For now though I know it is going to be a bit. When the kids are grown a bit it will be easier for hubby and I to sneak away. So for now Virtual Tour to Prague Is a cool way for me to experience a new city. In this case... Prague. There are a lot of beautiful sites there lots of architecture that I could photograph... Le Sigh... ONE DAY

generators

yuppers that has been the big talk around this house lately. I think that dh is feeling pretty helpless being accross the country and having his family going through some interesting weather situations. We have been without power probably a week combined since he has been gone. It is not typical but I do have to say it is rather frustrating. So now I guess we are getting a generator. I was hoping to not have to drop 5K on something like that but... eh I guess someday I will get my new bedroom set right?

Sunglasses

Well OK with the weather we have had lately and the time of year I guess it is not the optimal time to be talking about getting sunglasses but you know I am a perpetual planner I swear. DH and DS#2 wear glasses. Once upon a time when DH worked on the flightline (or close to who knows lol) he got prescription sun glasses. Now they weren't as bad as the military issued BCG's (birth control glasses) or Buddy Hollys but they were not exactly fashionable. I have been thinking about picking dh up a pair that is more fashionable. When you Are looking for opticals whou would think that a site that has Nikon rifle scopes also has a great selection of prescription sunglasses. But hey if you specialize in optics...you specialize in optics of all types lol

Ring ring

Well I get a phone call this morning Accross my caller Id is U.S. Govt HO (which is another joke all together ;) ) I pick it up and it is dh's work... well his old work calling to muster him. Calling me at the buttcrack of dawn to see if Insert hubbys rate/rank and our last name here is in for muster. Ummm yeah petty officer he is in VA... no he isn't TAD, well OK he is but he checked out of your command in OCTOBER. "Oh ma'am I am sorry" DUR!

Batten down

The hatches.. and other such nonsense. We here in Western Washington are getting ready for a BIG storm to come in. It isn't the rain or snow that is the big deal this time. It is the WIND they are predicting gusts of 90-100 mph. Holy MOLY!!!
So I almost guarantee we are going to lose power for the night, if not longer. If we don't hey I will be plesantly surprised.
keep us in mind and send good thoughts :) If you do not hear from me for awhile I am sitting in the dark trying to keep what is left of my sanity

DVD player

I am in the market for a new player. I am sich and tired of using our Playstation as a DVD player. I SOOO miss our 5-disc DVD changer. We waited a long time to make sure DVD's were going to stick around (anyone remember Betamax??) Now we are looking at blu-ray as well.DVD Recorders and Players Guide. I may go forward for the time being and get anothe DVD changer until I am certain the change to something else will be worth it in the long run Samsung Blu-Ray Disc Player I have never owned a Samsung. Anyone have an input on that brand?

OW OW OW

My arms hurt from painting and lifting boxes etc, my fingers hurt from using that damn allan wrench, My legs are sore from the lifting and squatting BUT The bed is built!! It is DONE. I did it MYSELF. Yeah that's right no manly help here just me :) Oh wait I did have minimans help but that is more of an obsticle.

the key thing

For an internet company... internet access I will have to keep that in mind.
I swear dealing with every little element in getting what you need done is a pain in the butt. reality tvI LOVE the chairs. I can sneak in paint some new bedding and beds here do you think I can sneak in a $700 chair. They look so comfy. Ted you can send me one I promis I won't use it to stand on. Moving bites. But for a bigger office... I guess it was all worth it. Did I see some Netflix on your desk?? Oh HEEEECK no Ted did not say Uniqua. Such a joke in this house. "I need a unique name for my daughter hmmmmm"
Congrats on the move and congrats on the continued success (and thanks too)

Can't lift boxes?? Work for Fed Ex!!

This lady finally brought the boxes. Well Mrs Fed Ex lady says “I need help I cannot lift these boxes” WHAAAAAA???? OK if you work for a company like…lets say oh Fed Ex shouldn’t you be able to lift BOXES?? It is not like they were super heavy or anything. The heaviest one was 70 pounds. That is it. About the weight of my 8 year old... he is a little lighter but you get the point.

She could not get them out of the van I had to. I carried them from the van to my house. She couldn’t even HELP because it was heavy all she did was complain about how heavy they were, and how hard they were to lift, and “OMG what did you order”

I could have flicked her in the forehead!

See folks over the years I have gotten better. Had it been 15 years ago I WOULD have flicked her in the forehead... TWICE

Toys for Tots

How great is this? Vimo is donating a dollar per doctor review you post (up to three dollars per person) through the Toys for Tots Campaign at Vimo. I can not say enough how much of a worthy cause toys for tots is. So pop on over to Vimo rate your doctor and help a worthy cause!

OK

it is almost 10 am and no bed?? Geesh slackers! Fed Ex runs some weird schedules. No biggie.
I made the miniman a fruit smoothie and some toast for breakfast. I think this is the longest he has sat at the table in a long long time. Of course as I typed that he is wearing his toast as a hat. but hey whatever works ;p

Dishes

So I am looking at new dishes.
we have these and have had this set since we got married

I am looking at these two. Which do you like? What color would you paint the kitchen?

Mixed feelings

You know I am so torn. Bank Forclosures on one hand you are jumping on someone elses misfortune. On the OTHER hand it is a way to enhance your 'portfolio'. There are so many properties out there that are available. There was one right down the street from us.

Navy logic

Send a sailor to school on the other side of the country from his hom. With no available barracks rooms, set him up in the lodge at $500 a week. Yet while he is there totally screw up PAYING him to live there. So what would most people do in this situation.... seriously?? UGH so up up up the credit card balances go. Just what I want NOT

Remember

When you have a larger family remembering every important date is so hard. Add to that your circle of friends and it can simply be overwhelming. What better way than to have an online calendar?! It is so easy to use. Just input all of the birthdays and events you need to remember and you will get reminders sent to you straight from the site. You can get these reminders sent to your email or even your cell phone! Of course the service is one of the things I love the most. FREE hahaha

Fed Ex

Today two truck came by. Neither one had the bed. The first one parked in the driveway got out searched her truck scratched her head and left. The other truck came and dropped off my first aid kit. A huge truck and they couldn't fit the other boxes on there? It is odd. I am sure there is some logic somewhere. Maybe they subscrive to the Navy's logic

If

the teen yeas get worse... I want a vacation NOW a vacation that lasts oh about 6 years. OMG if he had more attitude he would topple over! Anything I say has a snotty little response. I know I was a teen with attitude like no tomorrow but he is a boy I thought I might have been safer. Nooooooo

PPP

Yes again! I know "woman would you shut up about this PPP thing??" the simple answer, NO hahaha. What can I say I am able to afford our ca because of this andd I think it is great and want to spread the wealth in a manner of speaking. PayPePost is of course undegoing a lot of changes because , well they are new AND growing. there is an easy way to keep up with all of the latest changes and news and videos. Be sure to visit the PPP blogs. You will get all of the latest updates. Of couse watch is with some of those videos. You may laugh your butt off.... though I am still waiting... I do have a bit to laugh off ;p !

So what do

I do?? I am debating getting a sitter and getting some ME time. But what do I do? I am not a club type gal. I could see myself in a quaint Irish pub or something but I don't think there are any around here lol. Maybe go to a movie? I am not much on shopping (hahah yeah a woman said that) but maybe a pretty up day? I would love a mani and a pedi but I hurt my darn foot and I may have to snap someones neck if they mess with my foot.... but I mean that in the nicest way.
Ugh can you tell I need a break? I love my kids I love spending time with them but I am getting NO down time. From wake up until AFTER I go to sleep I have a child attached to my hip. I understand they are missing Dad and all so I suck it up but this is my WAHHHH moment so I cried and now I am putting on my big girl panties and getting over it

You know

while I am at posting... I AM going to paint the #1 sons bedroom! yup it is true. I have a painting bug I guess, sore muscles and all. I also have picked out the color for the downstairs bathroom (pending the old guys OK that is). I would paint our room too but for some reason that is too overwhelming to me. Must be the vaulted ceilings! hahaha

Is it

Monday yet??? OMG this weekend is DRAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGIIIINNNNNNNGGGGGGG I cannot believe it is only Saturday night.
The good news is DS#2's room is painted :) Everytime #3 goes in there is says "wow!!!" I appreciate that! hahaha someone appreciates my hard work at least ;)
I cannot wait to get his beds HERE and then together, then buy his mattresses and get his bedding on. I think it will look very kick ass!!

Bullet

Everytime the words magic bullet is mentioned around my circle of friends we giggle mostly because we have dirty little minds ;p BUT This little blender Magic Bullet Blender seems like such a cool little device.

Of ourse if I leave the TV on at night I seem to wake up to this infomercial so my desire to get one may be a bit of a subliminal thing lol But I still think they are neat and pretty damn impressive for as little as they are.

Apparently

I make Mexican food too much hahaha. I made some pork for burritos yeasterday and made burritos today. You know the thing is I ask for input when it comes to menus I really do. ANYTHING from Gumbo to Cioppino I can make it. OK so I don't eat pork chops... pork is OK just not pork chops but I will still make them. Ugh anyway I need to make more meals with more of an international flair apparently lol. Picky little brat bread and water for you ;p kidding of course

Got something to say?

PayPerPost is one of my new jobs. paid blogging it is super easy to do. Heck I have a lot to say about hmmmm almost everything so this is easy for me. Well if I can type quick enough hehe. If any of you bloggers are out there reading I encourage you to sign up with PayPerPost! just simply click that nifty little PayPerPost botton there on the left and sign up!! Do it you know you want to! Hahaha look peer pressure! That way I can share in your wealth too. I get a few buck if my friends sign up and start posting.

Lord help me

I love my oldest but he just doesn't get get the whole actions and consequences thing. He is a SMART SMART kid. Honestly he is smart he has the brains to do whatever in life he could ever want. He just has no follow through. He doesn't get the fact of ..... He doesn't do homework OR class work he fails. I know you and I hear that and think DUH but I tell him and it is "You are picking on me. You all hate me. You think my brother is such a Goody goody" yeah well we never compare the boys they are different people so that is a crock, we don't hate him and I don't think we are picking on him either

Ahhhhh

The life of a toddler watching Sesame Street on a Saturday morning.......

If

Nothing else my 'adventure' I have begun with PayPerPost have made me laugh. The staff at PPP are quite unique to say the least. Why do I like that? Well let's face it, normal is boring! I have laughed so hard at the fact my middle son now says "so mom what is for dinner? Catfeeeeeeeeeeeeesh?" That of course sends the whole family into hysterics. HD content Watching these videos give you a bit of insight intot the Company PPP and the mad mad minds behind it all. Let me say Holy CRAP Ted!!! How many companies over the past 13 years?? Impressive! Three meetings and three million dollars? Yeah how do I get myself one of those meetings?!?!?! Adding to my list of things I have learned. If I ever have a booth in a trade show….bring LOTS of wine and leave the sanity at the door. But then again maybe that is a prerequisite for this company anyway (said of course with lots of love ;) ) A lot of works goes into those shows. And OMG the giddyness that comes with no sleep and ummm snorting laughs.... worth every second hehe Maybe I should show the boys so next year when they head to PAX they appreciate it a little more

I gave up

OK call me a quitter or whatever. I ALMOST finished Little mans room. I have one wall left. So close yet not going to happen. It isn't really that I am exhausted or anything it is with both boys home and the baby being well a very BUSY little toddler I cannot get anything done. Maybe I can fix them breakfast pop on some cartoons and quickly come up and finish... or maybe that is hoping for too much?

The old

guy was talking about Scottsdale. You know since we are going to be super rich and own lots of property maybe we can do like on this site. Buy a Condo and use it as a vacation spot or something Cave Creek Real Estate. Wonder though how many condos allow big old German Shepherds?

Alright damnit!

I finally started painting!!! Nothing like just diving in and getting started hahaha

I will have to say I got so much blue on me I resembled a Smurf I think. My oldest asked me though it I had more blue paint. Why you ask? well because he wants to be a Smurf fo Halloween! lol I had to explain why we don't coat ourselves in laytex paint LMAO

Prepaid phones

We have been doing some talking about getting the oldest a phone. Prepaid phones seem like a way to go though we are still on the fence. How that fence supports us who in the world knows haha dealking.com has some deals and cash back offers. Some worth looking into the T-mobile and Cingular GO phones etc.

Ok TODAY

I will be going into town and pick up my son from his detention. He is finally serving it today. I have to swing by the pharmacy and get my prescriptions. Then I have to come back onto the island to get my middle son from his Spanish class. I am considering going to the children's museum tomorrow so the boys can enjoy the "North Pole Party"/ But after movign furniture and painting? I am not sure I will be in the mood to.

Scottsdale

This is just a simple post about Scottsdale and Scottsdale Real Estate I see it as a market that will only be gaining but eh what do I know ;)

Things I miss

I miss.....
the fact that when my husband is gone I cannot take a few moments to myself. Taking a shower by myself is out of the question. LeSigh.
I miss not having someone to talk about my day to. I miss not having someones arms to snuggle up in. I miss having someone else to take out the dogs in the middle of the night (hahahaha). I miss having someone who understands my weirdness and appreciates it. I miss having someone who knows what I am thinking but then again is clueless (inside joke I guess)
Ahhh well I guess I am in an I miss him mood.
The kids are done eating, the oldest is doing his chores the middle is cleaning his room and I am taking the youngest and taking a shower.

Crunch crunch crunch

Crunchy. Ah a word that is used to describe so many things. Peanuts, chips, candy and popcorn can all be considered crunchy. Yet it is also a term that is used to describe people who choose to live a more healthy or natural lifestyle. You know over the years I have gotten a bit more crunchy than I thought I ever would be. With my two oldest children I never would have considered doing anything as out there as cloth diapering. But yet here I am with my third child and I use cloth diapers exclusively. Who would have thought it? Then again I had it in my mind that cloth diapers equaled diaper pins and plastic covers. I have always made my own baby food though. Yes it is true. Now I do admit I would go down the baby food aisle for ideas but I wouldn’t stock up on the jarred food. A lot of advances have been made and more companies are offering organic foods. I may not be like some, I do not go all out and go all organic. BUT I do have things that I would prefer to be natural. Now with the coming of more organic products also comes more information! Thank goodness. It makes things so much easier organic baby gifts are just one thing you will find. Not to mention forums etc.
I love it it is easier to go organic now

Lord

Grant me the serinity..... well ok sanity would be nice!! I know now why I didn't become a house painter why I didn't chose that for a profession when career day rolled around. OMG it is a lot of work. I haven't even started to paint yet! I am just doing the preparation and taking apart the furniture and all.
I hope this weekend I will be done with the painting. Maybe by Friday. I can hope anyway

you all

know we, as a family are a little bit... off. I mean that in a good way we have a warpped sense of humor in general we like the whacky and off beat. There are times we find gifts that are so darn funny that we have to get them. Ok funny and fun. We have all had a pet rock. Admit it you had one!! Who needs to adopt a cabbage patch kid??? Adopt an alien!! Alien Adoption World Collectors Kits This is better than any Chia pet I might have gotten my son! hahaha.
How neat is that thing? it interacts and everything. Better than Sea monkeys! You know mine never hatched.

Why

why oh why do they have some character on a kids TV show named UNIQUA??? what in the world. Let me guess they wanted a unique name :::: insert me rolling eyes here::::

Today

Well I have to head into town today. My son is serving a detention for swearing. Lovely eh? so while I am there I will go to the pharmacy too. May as well combine trips. My little one needs to nap so I can work on #2's room. I love the baby to bits but he does not help me be too productive! :)

Maxim

We have been getting Maxim for years. I think since it was first printed. Heck if I can remember anymore. Damn reading that magazing has sucked out my brain. And for all of you guy reading YES women do read Maxim. We may feel a twinge of hatred for the ultra skinny hot models that are featured but I digress haha. Anyway Now Maxim has launched their own Snopes of sorts Urban Legends . In only a way Maxim could haha. I got such a kick out of them. I myself have told my boys that gum would stay in their stomachs for years I think mostly out of frustration haha. But Maxim pointed out the fact that I knew but didn't want to admit ;p it isn't true.

HP

My middle son is SO much of Harry Potter fan heck he even dressed up as Harry for Halloween. We have all of the books and he is NOT so patiently waiting on the last novel to come out Harry Potter Audiobooks would be an awesome thing for the car. I would take that over hearing whatever odd DVD of the day. It would be something we both agreed on. Bedcause honestly I have read all of the books too

Smart

Smart dog no?? hahaha I was just planning on taking a picture of the fire place screen I bought but I lit the fire place and a dog jumped into place :)

OK maybe

it will take me a few days to get #2's room ready to be painted. I moved his mattress onto the oldests bed. He needed a new mattress and #'2 is fairly new. And I moved #1's set downstais to give away. OMG!!! I am beat lol not only that I think the "surprises" I found under their beds was enough to set me back a bit lol I have a shop vac to empty a rabbit cage to clean and a bed to take apart before I can even get started to clean. Calgon take me away..... damn that never works in real life!!

I buy the man

A big ol' manly tool box. Ok so it isn't diamont plate or anything but a big ol' multistory toolbox that locks etc. Good wife right? It is ideal for him to keep what??? hmmmm tools maybe?!?!? Yet today when I am going in to look for a flippin' Phillips screwdriver can I find one?!?! NO nowhere in the toolbox. Even MY screwdrivers are scattered and I cannot find what I need. OMFG how hard is it to put tools away????

Booohooo

I love the Franz bakery outlet. I go there because the bread is good and the prices are even better. I LOVE the garlic sourdough they make. Or should I say MADE because much to my horror when I couldn't find any yesterday I learned they discontinued baking it!!!! NOOOOOOOO
I had to settle for some asiago sourdough bread. It is good but it isn't garlic ;( The baby loves it though

Online shopping

OK so we are a bit past Black Friday and Cyber Monday but getting shopping done online there is nothing easier! Just recently I did a ton of shopping through Target and used the Target coupon codes. Utilizing the 10% off AND free shipping I saved a ton of $. Having online coupons makes the whole experience better. Well at the very least a little cheaper. And let's face it I take every avenue I can to save a dollar or two especially through the holiday season.

I love

the weather!!! OK so it is hitting about 36 right now BUT the point is there is no snow the road conditions are great, we have power and the boys are in school! Somebody pinch me I must be dreaming! I am catching up on my housework. I am starting my projects..... Wooohooo life is good

Money and family

Two words that typically mix like oil and water. There are two things to remember when it comes to family and money. forst and foremost never lend what you aren't prepared to never get back. And second Never borrow anything you aren't prepared to pay back or face the wrath of that awkward 1,000 pound gorilla in the room if you don't. We borrowed $20,000 from my grandfather to pay off the debt incurred by my husbands year long marriage to the woman from Hades. We paid off half the debt and needed help with the rest. Making those payments every month to assure that there isn't anything to put a rift between us. I wish I could say it was all paid off. It will be a wonderful day when it is! A payday loan or advance like faxless cash advance is SO much easier than borrowing from family for the smaller things

Paint

Well enough talking about it. I got the paint. The boy will have a VERY blue room. But with the wood furniture and the dark stripped comforter and the crown molding I am putting up.... It will all offset very nicely.
Now to finish gutting the room and clean, prime and paint and then clean the carpets on my way out. Tada a totally revitalized room :)

Then by that time the new beds should be delivered I can put those up and get DS#2 back into his 'new room'.

If I could get DS#1 a full/full bunk bed in dark cherry it could match his furniture that would be a plus and would save me from having to stain any bed we do get.

OK enough rambling I am off to sleep.

Lots of love to my husband who is reading this, and probably shaking his head ;) I am keeping busy ;)

For the most part

I love being a woman. I love the way I have curves. LOTS of curves but curves none the less. I love my hair, the way a little make-up and a skirt of dress can make me feel like a million bucks. The way just the right look in a mans direction will get his attention and make him smile...... But I also have an extreme dislike for all else rhat going with being a woman. The cramps for one. What bet did we lose to get those things? Or who did we piss off? And once a month?!?!?! Lord No thank you . Why not not worries until I decide I want to have children... THEN it can come for ONE cycle. Darnit it all to heck! And those commercials "have a happy period" Have a happy whaaaaA????? yeah right kiss my ass

I did it Ma!

I dressed myself. Look at my silly little monkey

Good news is we got our propane delivery today. I will spare you the cost of that one! Also we finally gt the trash picked up. 2 weeks of trash was not fun.
I am blah I miss my husband I wish he was home. But I had better get used to this again. I talk to him almost daily so that is OK though he could email or write too or instead of lol
That is about it. It is almost 9pm, #2 and #3 sons are headed to bed and so am I!

I am itching to take a road trip but It is just not in the budget. Maybe a trip to Seattle will do instead?
