Costco

I swear they see me coming and do a happy dance. I left there after close to $500.00. No I didn't buy a TV or anything it was a restock papergoods soaps etc. Holy crapamoly! People look at me one of two ways, an understanding nod, or a look of pity.
Grady had me cracking up. I got some Kleenex. HE started to pretend to blow his nose LOUDLY. This woman in the aisle was laughing so hard. That is Grady's thing lately. If he cannot use sign language to get accross what he wants and the word is not in his vocabulary he makes the sound. He wants his stuffed elephant... he trumpets like an elephant. He wants a drink he signs drink and then says AHHHHH (you know like you just drank something after crossing the desert haha). It is a fun, interesting stage.
#1 comes in to tell me he needs more lunch money... Ummm NOT I just sent him with $40 he thinks I forgot?
#2 has been going through a stage where he doesn't do his chores and it is grating on my last nerve. I may be a stay at home mom but I am NOT a stay at home SLAVE or maid though I do have the outfit...but ahem that is something else all together.
My husband seems blah I hadn't talked to him in a few days so I called him today. I think he came close to dying when he heard the Costco total. I also talked to him about where he thought the best place to install the carbon monoxide detector was.
Which brings me to another thing. Are we becoming paranoid? Prepared? overprepared or somewhere happily in the middle? We have one large fire extinguisher MOUNTED to the wall. and 3 other Fire extinguishers here and there in the house. Smoke detectors in every bedroom and two others, a first responder first aid kit, carbon monoxide detector..... ugh I seem a touch paranoid don't I?
I have been doing great with my blood pressure getting it down by keeping my stress down. Today... not so great. Really not good.
The dentist cleaning went well. I ave to go back to get these stupid decalcifications taken care of GRRRR but the boys all had no cavities YEAAAAA!!
OK well Blues Clues is over, it is bedtime for miniman and time for me to hit the hay too. Smooches HAHAHA
