DONE
I am so damn done with power outtages. Seriously I am D-O-N-E. Days at a time or hours and hours at a time. We do not really live in the sticks. It doesn't take PUD parachuting in, a train, a jeep then 20 miles by dog sled to get here or anything and yet we are at the bottom of the list when it comes to getting power back. Our little island is the red headed step-child of the PUD.
Oh and get this. One billing cycle, we were without power for about one week total. And get this, my bill was HIGHER than normal. What is the locigal explination there?? I have a balanced payment plan thing set up so I pay the exact amount every time but the actual cost was still higher (I think that made sense)
Anyway I am done I like the amenities I have. I like my laptop, my tv and cable, lights and heat and damnit I am tired of it going out!
