told ya

A website that I frequent, a message board predomimately visited by military spouses, a post today dealt with someones utter disbelief that you had to specifiy about care of your children or while your spouse is deployed if something would happen to you, your kids would become wards of the state until your spouse was brought back to the states. www.itsmylife.com I cannot stress to people expecially in our lifestyle how important having a last will and testament is! We all know it isn't easy but death is inevitable. "No one here gets out Alive" I sure as heck do not want the government tying up any lose ends I may have however they please. We know they would not have my familys best interest at heart. Providing for our children and your surviving spouse is so important. Get a will. Get an alternate care plan for your children. Be prepared for the worst. One day we will all need it, why not prepare now? You have to choose a guardian for your kids. Who would do the best job? who would raise them closest to how you would? Is that a burden you want to leave to your parents?
I swear it is not morbid it is smart to prepare for the future
