Good news, Houdini and exhaustion
I went to the drs yesterday and got those same stupid heavy duty hard on you but yet VERY effective antibiotics. With the prescription in hand and a bunch of Ambien CR samples to tide me over (have I mentioned I love our doctor?!?!?!) I come in the door to the phone ringing so I take that plus the 2 y/o I am carrying up the stairs and answer the phone. I set down all I had except the phone because it was a call I had to take. Well here is where Houdini comes in. My 2y/o grabs my prescription and hauls butt out of my room I give chase (while still on the phone) I catch up with him and guess what.. no prescription bottle....anywhere! Where did it go?? I still haven't found it!!! I took apart his room well took apart and rearranged :p. I put the twin beds back into bunk beds. Instead of taking apart the top bunk and reassembling it on the bottom bunk. I think oh heck no!! It will be quicker to just lift the bed ontop of the other... I take off the mattress and get it onto the other bed. Now the problem came about how do I lift this heavy solid pine ontop of this other bed and make sure it is centered so the bunk sits on the dowels that hold the beds together. Hmmmmmm
Trying to get one side up and then the other, while good in theory wasn't working! So hmmm. I got it!!! I get on the bottom bunk and lay on my back. I lift the top bunk on one side with my arms. The other end?? Yeah I lift using my legs If this visual isn't cracking you up right now you have no humor! lol So a little balancing and a little timing to center the dowels... Tada top bunk secured to the bottom bunk... intact! So I move it assembled accross the rom. Move one dresser to the other side and viola....exhaustion. And still no medicine.
But last night I did find my sleeping pills that were misplaced! They were in my laundry basket.
Now am I brave enough to try to hook up the cable in our youngests room?? I dont know. It involves going out to the box on the side of the house and playing cable tech.
So tell me I did getmarried to have someone do all of this right?? (inside joke sorry) So why am I doing it alone and where is my stand-in husband??
