Spinning off of my own earlier post. I WAS a single Mom when I met my now husband (he and I met and married when #1 was 2). Things were not easy blancing working (I worked out of my home so I could do the SAHM thing too), raising a child, dating and all the assorted extras. Not to mention I was a young Mom. I had my son a couple of months before I turned 20. After all of the stuff I went through I have such a double standard. I would NOT want to date a single Dad. It isn't the child, it isn't that he had a child....it was the Mom involved in the picture. I knew I couldn't deal with that. I guess we all have our things right? Good thing I never held it against any of the guys who were man enough to say they couldn't deal with it.
